La Sorbonne – Advanced Certificate Business French and Luxury

This certificate allows you to perfect your French and your knowledge of the luxury sector, before joining the second year of the Bachelor in Luxury.

Presentation of the programme

The Advanced Certificate of Business French and Luxury is a year of training provided jointly by the Cours de civilisation française de la Sorbonne and by Sup de Luxe, a reference school in the field of luxury and Cartier Chair for 30 years.

The Advanced Certificate of Business French and Luxury is intended for international students who still need to perfect their French language skills and wish to join the luxury sector. It includes basic courses in French language and phonetics as well as specialized courses in Business French. The certificate is a concrete introduction to the business of luxury brands.

  2. Sup de Luxe, a reference school of luxury and Cartier Chair for over 30 years, trains French and international students in all aspects of luxury management.
  3. The Advanced Certificate in French for Business and Luxury is designed for international students who still need to improve their French and wish to enter the luxury sector. It includes basic courses in French language and phonetics, as well as specialised courses in business French. The certificate is a concrete introduction to the business of luxury brands.

  • First semester language exam: week of 25 January at the CCFS
  • First semester exams: in May at the CCFS (in-house exam + DFP), in April for Sup de luxe

Pursuing your studies

Once you have passed the Higher Certificate in French Business and Luxury, you can enter Sup de Luxe directly into the second year of the Bachelor in Luxury Business programme, provided you have completed two months of sales or hospitality work experience in France or abroad. Alternatively, as obtaining this certificate will give you 60 ECTS credits, you can choose another establishment to continue your studies in a Bachelor's degree in the field of your choice (luxury, fashion, hospitality, communication, management, commerce, design, etc.).
